Great for replacing the old, frayed or worn out charger cables. Built with 8GA copper EV cable of the highest quality with a J-1772 plug on one end and bare wires on the other end. All that is needed to replace the current worn out cable is to remove the old wires and install the new cable. Be very careful to install the same color wires on the same terminals as those that were removed. It is a good idea to take a picture of the original wiring before removing it from the charger. It is advisable to have this work done by a qualified electrician to remove any chance of shorting out the charger or creating an unsafe situation. This replacement cable can be used in chargers that output up to 48 amps.
